When Yuji consumes a potent cursed thing, he gains extraordinary strength but also draws the attention of evil spirits known as Cursed Spirits. Yuji enrols in the Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College to pursue his training as a Jujutsu Sorcerer in order to defend those he loves about and stop more mayhem. The manga is set in a world full with curses, supernatural abilities, and terrifying enemies, and it addresses themes of friendship, sacrifice, and the conflict between good and evil.

Gege Akutami is the author and illustrator of the Japanese manga series Jujutsu Kaisen (呪術廻戦, “Sorcery Fight”), which began serialization in Weekly Shōnen Jump on March 5, 2018. Shueisha collects and publishes the individual chapters; as of July 2019, six tankōbon volumes had been published.
